From mug shot to street art, Bell’s Robert Rizzo, of HB, pops up in downtown L.A.

By now, most people have heard of the city of Bell and its infamous former city administrator Robert Rizzo, who has been charged with looting the city’s treasury.

Rizzo’s outsized annual salary of nearly $800,000 made international headlines and the city became synonymous with government corruption and excess.

The television game show “Jeopardy!” featured Bell as part of a question. “Law and Order: L.A.” aired a distinctly Bell-like episode. And now Rizzo has become the inspiration for an unidentified street artist. Two pictures of Rizzo have been spotted in downtown Los Angeles.
