H.B. divers headed to nationals

Huntington Beach divers Clark Piti, 13, and Brandon Loschiavo, 12, are headed to the U.S. Diving Western National Championships this weekend in Minneapolis.

Piti and Loschiavo earned their spots at a qualifier in Arizona in March. Only six West Coast divers were selected for nationals.

Both divers train at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool in Long Beach, with Huntington Beach resident Debby McCormick.

Piti is an eighth-grader at Stacey Middle School and Loschiavo is a sixth-grader at Dwyer Middle School.
