Deliquent dog owners could get a pass

Been feeling guilty that you never licensed Fido or Spot? Your chance to redeem yourself could be coming soon.

The Orange County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday will consider a dog license amnesty program that would make it cheaper for delinquent dog owners to license their animals, as is required by law. OC Animal Care, which handles pet licensing for 17 cities and the county’s unincorporated areas, hopes the amnesty program will encourage pet owners to get licenses.
