Beach Pit BBQ  made $19,321.11 at its three locations Thursday, and they’ve vowed to donate 100% of the profits to Haiti.  A check in that amount will be written to Lake Forest-based Peace Relief, a local nonprofit organization traveling to Haiti to bring relief efforts.

Tim DeCinces, owner and operator of the restaurant, was inspired by his daughters and their friends after they sold cupcakes, cookies and brownies and raised $97 to give to those in need in Haiti.

DeCinces came very close to his goal of $20,000 to give toward the relief efforts in Haiti.
