Walking on water

Teal Hoak, left, and Madison Fattaleh watched the Newport-Mesa rain storm from inside the Coffee Bean on W. 19th street. Moments later they decided walk through it when the storm was at its worst. “I haven’t walked in the rain in so long,” said Teal. The two got soaked head to toe, and didn’t mind a bit that they had no umbrellas.
